Soya Chunks pulao recipe:
Meal maker is very famous and healthy to eat ,popularly known as Meal maker is a must nowadays . i remember eating this soya chunks in Briyani many years ago, i.e during my brother house an years ago.For us it was like tasting non vegetarian as the texture seem to be hard for us .
Briyani Rice – 1 ½ cup
Ginger garlic paste -2 tsp
Red Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Onion -2
Cinnamon- ½ inch
Cloves -2
Bayleaf -2
Coriander leaves – 10
Salt
Oil.
For the soya nuggets
Soya chunks – 4 cup
Gram dal – 1 cup
Ginger – ½ inch
Garlic paste – 3 tsp
Red chilli - 3 tsp
Saunf – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Method :
Making soya chunks(deep fry)
step 1: First take bowl pure 4 cups of water and boil it some time like 5 min.
step 2:When the water comes to a boil add the soya chunks and cover it lid.
step 3: After 7 minutes switch off
the flame .Drain the water and squeeze the water out of the chunks well .
step 4: add the rest of the ingredients and grind it comes to a smooth paste .
step 5: Add water in small quantity to grind it. Make small balls out of it and deep fry in oil it will comes golden color.
step 6:Drain them in a tissue paper. Keep aside.
Making pulao with soya chunks
step 1: Soak Basmati rice in water for half an hour(wash well before soak the rice )
step 2: drain the water and keep it aside for half an hour.
step 3: Cut onion into fine pieces.
step 4: take In a cooker add oil, it get boil.
step 5: after boil oil ,addTemper bayleaf, cinnamon, cloves and when the nice aroma comes, add onion and sauté well .
step 6: Add required amount of water .
step 7:Add red chilli powder, salt, rice and mix well . Cover and cook for 2 whistles .When the pressure subside open the lid and mix well. Add the soya nuggets and coriander leaves .
step 8: i added the remaining cooked soya chunks to the pulao. Adding vegetables is of our choice .
